Coy is a huge nerd who loves collecting pokemon cards, playing world of warcraft, superhero comics, and collecting cd’s. Hanbon is a smarty art chick who loves sewing, fun hats, pinning insects, and her art blog. Anthony is cool, smooth, and popular. He plays basketball, loves finding underground music, and has a giant magic: the gathering collection he keeps in his closet. Will is a huge dork, but manages to befriend everyone. He loves playing on his DS, skateboarding, and naruto.
The group lives in cape may, NJ. coy, bon, and anthony have been neighbors their whole lives. Bon and Coy have been best friends since 2nd grade. Anthony is Bon’s cool older brother. Will moved to Jersey from New York in 8th grade, but he and Anthony met at camp years ago and have been best friends ever since. Will visited often until his dad’s work brought him to the east coast. Anthony and Will are a grade older.

Mid 2000s Highschool AU. Coys gotta big old crush on his best friends brother, Hanbon is his best friend. Anthonys her brother. And Will is there too.
“Y-yeah! Sorry..can I talk to Hanbon?” Coy says quickly,
“yeah she's in the bathroom, she'll be here in a sec”
“Cool.”
Theres an awkward silence and Coys brain searches for anything to bring up to start a conversation. He can still hear Anthony's gentle breathing over the line.
“Shouldn’t you be at practice right now?” Is what he comes up with.
Anthony doesn't respond for a beat and Coy squeezes his eyes shut. Why did he say that? Anthony probably thinks hes a total wierdo for memorizing his practice schedule.
“Got canceled. Coach had a thing.” Coy can hear cabinets opening and closing on from the other end.
“Oh uhm- sorry.” He’s not sure what to say
“Yeah, I'll probably just shoot some hoops in the front yard so it's no big deal.” He hears a fridge door open.
“Y-yeah I bet!” He says it too fast with forced laughter. He immediately squeezes his eyes shut. But he hears Anthony let out a short amused giggle.
God how long does Bon need to take in the bathroom. I mean he knows she has Ibs but-
