Awakening in a strange but familiar place he thanks Aizawa-sensei's over-cautious nature to specifically him alongside the wild array of wisdom from the previous users in order to survive and if he has to parent said ghosts then who is he to complain.

Summary

Follow Ciaphas Cain, a decorated if mysterious veteran of the First Wizarding War, as he stumbles into events far larger, darker, and more dangerous than he would ever prefer. Expect misunderstandings, convenient accidents and lots and lots of lamenting by a protagonist who insists that none of this was his idea.
No prior knowledge of Warhammer 40,000 is required, though readers familiar with Ciaphas Cain may notice that some habits are impossible to unlearn, even with a wand in hand.
