There it is, Scott realized as the group crested the top of the hill. Same chipped stone (a bit more mossy than last year), same roughly-cut message and the same bouquets of now-wilted roses.
It looked almost the same as the day he built it, grief-stricken and filled with an unimaginable amount of rage.
"Hey, Avid," Scott whispered softly.
