“All right, so we need basic training,” Flash concedes, rubbing the back of his neck. “But come on, do we have to go through all of this?”
“What’s your alternative?” Batman asks, his tone sharp, brow arching slightly, where no one can see it, beneath the cowl.
“Practice,” Flash says, shrugging. “I’m the kind of guy who learns best in action, you know? Hands-on.”
Green Arrow smirks, leaning back with his arms behind his head. “He’s right. I didn’t get here by studying thick manuals. Experience sticks better.”
Shazam chimes in, rubbing his arm with a sheepish grin. “Yeah, uh, anything that means I don’t have to sit through this thing. Just tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.”
They all look to the Dark Knight for his judgment.
Batman’s gaze narrows, the cowl’s lenses shrinking. “...Fine. But I recommend we watch five videos that effectively demonstrate–”
“Come on, Bats, we’re not a bunch of rookies here,” Ollie confidently states. “We can handle this without sitting through a bunch of videos. We’ve faced worse than some CPR training. Trust me; we’ve got this.”

What Sawamura Eijun believed to be normal sickness, turned out to be a case of the Hanahaki Disease that was slowly eating his life away. He's too scared to confide in others about his issues but Miyuki Kazuya becomes concerned for him after he finds out what the real issue is first-hand. Admitting to loving someone seems more difficult than dealing with the disease, but it definitely hurts more every time he spills his guts out, for the named catcher, in silence.
