“Are you trying to get killed, Potter?” Malfoy drawls, stalking forward. Quick as a serpent himself, he reaches out and grabs the snake just below the head. It thrashes in his grip, but is no longer able to bite anyone. “This is a poisonous snake, and I doubt anyone brought a bezoar with them.”
Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –
Malfoy’s eyes widen. He slaps his hand over Harry’s mouth, “Potter, what the hell–”

Summary
Colin is a touchy guy. Jamie knows this. Rebecca fucking Welton knows this. Everybody who has ever met Colin knows this.
And, they're footballers. They get a free pass on physical affection and entire stadiums full of die-hard fans who will no-homo on their behalf.
Jamie has just never been mates with a touchy person before with the added layer of said touchy person seemingly deciding that you're fair game to use as a teddy bear. He's never allowed anyone to be touchy with him the way he allows Colin to be, really. It's mad, and he has nobody but himself to blame.
Or: Jamie discovers not only that he has feelings, but that he's gone and caught them for Colin. What's a reformed twat to do?

Summary
Harry might be forgiven for never realizing his birthmark was actually a soulmark. They're supposed to be uncommon, and his two best friends already sport one each. He's glad not to be the one with the weird stuff to handle for once, too.
So of course his birthmark starts acquiring a shape right before the Quidditch World Cup, and then there's the sordid affair of the Triwizard Tournament and this Durmstrang git has made it his mission in life to make him blush at every turn.
Quite frankly, Harry's not sure he can handle Draco Malfoy for a whole year.
