Summary
I - Asja is a young survivor of the Shunning Grounds. She resides at the Lords' house as an Omen ward. She rarely chooses to leave the safety of the estate, not even for the autumn harvest festival.
II - After the defeat of Miquella the Kind and his promised consort, Sir Ansbach tends to his wounds. But none are so severe as the agony in his heart.
III - Wanderer has made his peace with what his is- a Harmonia puppet in its larval stage. But he resists the corruption of his bequeathed weapon to battle the Night with his beloved Scholar. If only so that they may one day discover the cure for Scholar's mortal disease.
IV - Nuala is a rider of the Fell Omen's Cavalry- and a Shardbearer twice over. Guided by Margit's counsel, they sought the aid of the Grace-Given Lord in Leyndell. He does what he must to protect their secrets.
V - Sir Oleg returns to Leyndell after being away on business for the King.
VI - Adamah and Ansbach pilgrimage to the Hinterlands with their adopted daughter after Miquella's Age is thwarted.
VII - Tarnished Pipkin contrives a meeting with his Lord

Summary
The overworked and underappreciated Soldier of Godrick - whose name is Thomas, but Godrick never cared enough to ask - finds three bloody fingers in the pocket of a defeated Tarnished, and when he himself is defeated for the first time, he wakes up in the Land of Shadows instead of Limgrave. He makes a deal with Messmer the Impaler to save his own life - keep the remaining fingers and kill one thousand Tarnished, and he will be allowed to live and continue serving Godrick from his remote cavern post in Limgrave. But is there perhaps a better place for the soldier, where he would be allowed to make full use of his overlooked talents, and serve a true demigod?

Summary
Leyndell is a sanctuary upheld on the labours of many. Much of the load falls to one Omen alone, Margitt. Few in the capital have the experience or the spine to treat a case like him landing at their doorstep.
Florence had the spine, what she lacked was the restraint to not hound him like the rest of her patients. A stubborn Omen and a stern healer make for a caustic dynamic, yet routine breeds familiarity. Familiarity lends itself to fondness. Fondness might perhaps become something more.

Rather, Morgott assumed a perfect copy. The number of times he had dared to look upon himself in a mirror could be counted on a single hand. What he'd seen reflected back at him had long been burned into his memory, though he'd tried throughout his years to bury such visions. They haunted him like the shadows his body cast under the light of the Erdtree - hunched, horned, and unwelcome.

And Miquella himself seems to have abandoned the Capital in pursuit of his own ambitions. Morgott sees the coming war, and he is determined not to leave the Erdtree and Leyndell defenseless. But to do so, he will have to become King. And to become King, he will enlist a Banished Knight to bear a Lord's sins.
