Byakuya wants to die alone and Nemu doesn't see the point in love. Neither of them sees the other coming.
"Nemu doesn’t spend a lot of time with handsome men. No one in her squad is cute and men don't seem to notice her (but to be fair, she does a very good job of staying in the background). For the last two weeks, she has been thinking about the ten minutes she spent with Byakuya. She hadn’t seen him up close before. Nemu can now say that the rumors are false, because his face isn’t perfectly symmetrical, but it’s still a handsome face. The kind that makes Nemu's tummy do weird things inside of her."

Summary
Gin and Rangiku, before he leaves.
"Gin shows up at his convenience and never tells Rangiku that he loves her, but she can tell by the way that he tries to minimize the amount of space he takes up in her heart, that he cares for her. A bastard would want it all just to say that they have it, so that they could say that they won. Rangiku knows that Gin is different because he treats her like a person and not a thing. That’s the main reason that they never talk about their future, but also, because it feels too good for Rangiku to think about anything else."

Summary
After eight years of being in love, Satoru and Suguru were finally able to celebrate their first together.
All the gives and takes. The shared responsibility of just showing up, even if some days were ten percent. Doing what they could to make the others life a little bit easier.
Although it wasn’t perfect by any means, and Suguru was convinced it probably wouldn’t ever be, it was working. He was just happy to be able to see Satoru nearly every day, to see his boyfriend, and the thought of that suddenly disappearing had started to fade.
And all Satoru ever wanted was to see him happy. So, he’d try.
