Kirishima trains in a sports bra.
It isn’t a big deal. It’s just a thing, like his eyes being red or his room being next to Bakugou’s is. If anything, those last two are the subject of Bakugou’s thoughts way more often; mind getting stuck on how the sun reflects in that bright, brilliant red, or wishing the sleep-talking that keeps him company on nights he can’t seem to fall asleep came from right next to him rather than a wall away.
The reason why doesn’t really click until around the hundredth time Kirishima manages to pin him during a spar.

“And you couldn’t have done that shit earlier?”
“See, I tried,” Kirishima smiles bashfully, “but my Quirk kept acting up on reflex and I only had one needle, I couldn’t mess it up.” He picks up his pencil, rolling it around his fingers. “So I took some extra time to get really into the zone and relax enough for the injection. I even lit up a candle! A scented one!”
“One way to spend an afternoon, I guess,” Bakugou scoffs as he goes back to his homework. “Don’t know why you bother, but at least you got it done.”
Kirishima’s face falls.

Sero nods. “It’s the chance of a lifetime, really,” he says. “We want you to date Bakugou, for the sake of his reputation with the press. Some public appearances, a few ‘candid’ photos. For at least a couple of months.”
“Bakugou sent you to ask me to date him?” Kirishima asks, baffled.
“Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”
When Kirishima Eijirou's band hits the big time, he's not prepared for his newfound fame. He's even less prepared to meet the actor he's been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he's in over his head. But it's hard to stop, once his heart is in it.

“Katsuki…” a woman said, a sigh heavy on her voice.
“What, Ma?”
He saw Katsuki in time to witness one of his signature eye-rolls, and he smiled.
“Hey, Kats. How are you feeling?” He greeted with a wave.
Katsuki’s eyes went wide, pretty pink flushing his cheeks and he swallowed, “Holy fucking shit.”
“Man, I was so worried about you.” He admits, laughing quietly.
Katsuki shook his head for a split second, “Who the hell are you?”
