Summary
or, one hundred and thirty-three principles of the Gusu Lan, pertaining to the state of marriage
***
He bows to Wei Wuxian, sword in hand, sleeves falling properly. Wei Wuxian bows in return, and the sect leaders begin the opening courtesies, and for all of ten minutes Lan Wangji is under the impression that he is betrothed to a boy who is perfectly normal and acceptable apart from an unfortunate tendency to fidget with his clothes.
That impression does not last.

Summary
Wei Wuxian sits up a little further. Then instantly regrets it. “Go to bed, Jiang Cheng,” he groans. “I’ll live.”
“Will you?” Jiang Cheng says. “Because if you die in my guest room, Gusu Lan will have my head.”
He and Jin Ling really are the same person, sometimes. Wei Wuxian considers pointing out, again, that he is nowhere near dying, but he lets it go. He’s tired. And it’s apparently not helping. “Not all of Gusu Lan,” he says mildly. “I think the elders would send gifts.”
(Or: an unexpected stay in Lotus Pier.)

Summary
Up upon a balcony stood a boy about Lan WangJi's age, dressed in simple, white robes. His long, ink-coloured hair draped down his back, perfectly framing his figure. In the darkness, his silver eyes glowed, a clear indication of his identity as the rumoured sacrifice.
However, what really caught Lan WangJi’s eye was the tears that were streaming down his face as he looked up at the moon in the night sky.
Alternatively:
The GusuLan Sect is in charge of guarding the gods' chosen sacrifice until their twenty-second birthday. For years, Lan QiRen has held that duty. However, after he is called away on urgent clan business, Lan WangJi is asked to step in and guard the sacrifice for his last few months of life.Russian translation by dOrlan: https://ficbook.net/readfic/9084305

Summary
Ah, what else to say...this will be a quick letter, as I want to send it off before I head out in the morning. Of course there’s too much to express—especially when I lack the gorgeous poetry of your voice, which you’ll be pleased to know has prevented my peaceful rest on many a night. It is wrong enough that you lay beyond the edge of the clouds, and I lay alone under feverish rain. I can only hope that I also disrupt your evenings, else life would be far too unfair.

Summary
So on Twitter I mentioned I’d love to read a daemon AU of MDZS.
And Kim said “Daemon fic - can you IMAGINE what WWX's daemon has gone through?!?!?”
And I didn’t really get it, until she added:
“I'm actually thinking more along the lines that with cultivators, daemons are linked to their golden core.
so.”
And then I burst into tears. Because how could Jiang Cheng not know his “new” daemon was Wei Wuxian’s? And how could WWX hide his own loss? And a whole new world of knives unfolded before me, so here is a window into that AU, through a series of vignettes, as posted on Twitter.
With thanks to those who were reading and responding on Twitter along with me.

Summary
Wei Wuxian, the free-spirited adopted son of the Jiang clan, takes his sister's place in the marriage mart at the Conference of Clans. The Lan family gets the first bid, but they have no eligible female cultivators. Why then does Lan Wangji, the Lan family's handsome but austere second son, stand up and bid for Wei Wuxian? And will the newly-returned eldest son of the Wen clan let him get away with it?
Also, there's a dragon and a lot of silly promises;)
This story is complete at 22 Chapters.

A/N: I can't bear that 'The Untamed' is over, so I'm contributing this to the English-language fanfic for this series. (The Untamed is a Chinese bromance series - available on Viki.com or YouTube via the Tencent channel. It is based on the BL (Boys Love) novel, Mo Dao Zu Shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. The original novel is fantastic and can be read at the original translation site. Summary
Every time Wei Wuxian came in contact with him, incidentally or not, Lan Wangji would recoil from the touch as if burned.
Every time Wei Wuxian smiled at him, Lan Wangji would immediately look away as if the sight alone repulsed him.
Every time Wei Wuxian tried to talk to him, Lan Wangji would mostly not react as if he was merely tolerating his presence.
The only times Lan Wangji actually replied to him were to tell him how “ridiculous“ or “shameless“ or “pathetic“ he was.
Wei Wuxian would only laugh because he knew that it was true. He was pathetic for being so desperate for any form of contact with Lan Wangji.

Summary
“If you give him some relationship advice and I help him with flirting, we’ll get Lan Zhan his heart’s desire in no time!” Wei Wuxian says boldly, and Lan Xichen rubs his temples as if he’s having a headache. “What?”
“… I have offered him relationship advice,” Lan Xichen says finally, slowly, giving Wei Wuxian a look. “I believe the object of his affections is oblivious to his feelings despite numerous gestures.”
“What an idiot,” Wei Wuxian declares, and Lan Xichen looks downright pained. “Don’t worry, Lan Xichen, between your good advice and my excellent tutoring, we’ll make certain Lan Zhan’s affections will be clear to even the most oblivious.”
“… I certainly hope so,” Lan Xichen says after a moment, looking down at the counter and sighing.

Summary
All Wei Wuxian wants is a lifetime of Lan Zhan, please and thank you. If that takes a public wedding at Cloud Recesses to achieve, so be it. First, he just has to get through Lan Qiren’s classes on dignity, restrain himself from being too shameless with Lan Zhan before the wedding, keep Jiang Cheng from scowling himself to death over walking in on intimate moments, keep Jiang Cheng and Lan Zhan from having a go at each other, try to make Lan Xichen as happy as possible and get Jin Ling to call him uncle again.
He can totally do all that.
Can’t he?
(No, but he can at least try his best.)

Summary
“Let go,” Lan Wangji says.
“Huh?” Wei Wuxian tightens his hold on Lan Wangji. “Why?”
“If you don’t let go,” Lan Wangji tells him, reaching up to cover one of Wei Wuxian’s hands with his own, squeezing lightly, “then I can’t get up.”
“And what will you do once you get up?” Wei Wuxian asks. “Will er-gege punish me for being shameless?”

“I am not Bella!” he insisted, shaking his fist angrily at Jackson, as if he’d been the one to suggest he was. “I am not Bella! I am, like, a Jacob, at least!”
Lydia made a noise of debate from his right and he whipped around to look at her.
“What?! What was that sound?!”
“You’re more of a Mike,” she insisted, shrugging neatly and flipping some curls over her shoulder.
“Wha—” Stiles had never been so offended in his life! “I am not! No way! I am a solid Jacob!”
“Mike,” she argued.
“Who’s Mike?” Scott asked.
“Shut up, Scott!” Stiles insisted, pointing a finger at him but still glaring at Lydia.
