Ze had barely escaped from the hole after fifteen days. But even though he left the hole, there was a piece of it that hadn't left him. In fact, the piece was so big that it became impossible to hide or ignore after only a couple days of coming back. More specifically, Ze had brought back the Daemon unknowingly, the creature crawling itself under his skin like a disgusting, horrid parasite. It could hear his thoughts, feel his feelings, know his strengths, weaknesses, and everything worse.
