"What if said three words, everyone's favourite?", Astarion asked quietly, his cold breath ghosted over their face, caressed their closed eyelids, stirred their lashes, as he leaned in ever so close until he touched their forehead with his. Hush could smell the expensive perfumes and oils on his skin, as well as a faint smell beneath the initial cloud of flowers and mild spices; something stale and sharp hiding just below the pleasant surface.
He lifted a second ice cold, perfectly manicured hand up to their other ashen cheek, now fully cupping their face.
"I love you"
Hush stopped breathing.

Bits and bobs about my Durge "Hush", a "Tiefling", Monk/Rogue-multiclass, who is barely holding on to awareness.
For now, it's probably going to be mostly one-shots and shorter stories, fleshing out moments i felt like needed more exploration in the game.
No romance planned for now, but I want to go into the platonic relationships between most companions and Durge, Orin and Durge, and Enver and Durge.

“Thanks for giving me an excuse to skimp on teaching! Whom do I owe for this impromptu save?” Satoru’s voice is chipper and obnoxious as always, carrying that vapid aura of arrogance even the tinny sound of a burner phone can’t obscure. It falls along the lines of things Suguru expected to hear. Satoru never did pass up a chance to annoy others and make life more interesting for himself, and that’s what makes it all feel so tragically mundane even when it’s really, really not.
“Yo, Satoru.”
A little anticlimactic, Suguru will admit later. He should have led with something else. Like how he’s alive-not-alive, or how he remembers Satoru’s last words to him. Or maybe that he’s sorry for-
