Kiyoomi had slowly become used to two things over the past five years. The first was the occasional, dull pain that would rise in his chest, prompted by small things like someone passing him a folded napkin or someone's hair glinting golden in the sun. The second was how hazy his memory had become around certain parts of his past.

He glares at Nobara as she finally quietens, who waves her hand in Megumi’s face to stop him speaking as she takes a deep breath, still grinning.

Something clawed in the depths of Atsumu’s chest at that, and his hands seemed to burn. He curled them into fists and resisted the urge to shove them in his pocket out of sight.
