As he inhales deeply, Hajime’s fingers brush against his jaw; warmth blooming beneath his fingertips.
“But you didn’t,” Hajime reminds him. “I came back. I will always come back for you.”

And then, because they share the same defective, atrophied brain cell, Hanamaki corrects:

Tooru feels his heart stutter as Hajime’s thumb grazes over his cheek, eyes fluttering shut as he nuzzles into the touch. Finds his chest tightening, voice stuttering, his very person forgetting how to speak, how to stand.
He leans into Hajime. Breathes in that sweet, musky cologne he’s been particular to since college, the fragrance rising from his very pulse, staccato beat thrumming against Tooru’s skin. “Yeah?”
“I’m going to kiss you now.”
“Okay,” he whispers.

Hajime just snorted at him, as if he was making a joke. “‘S’not that bad. Who knows? Maybe a bit of the country life could do you some good.”
“Yeah? According to who?”
“Well you did run away from home,” Hajime pointed out, and, well, yeah, Oikawa couldn’t really argue with that point. “B’sides, doesn’t seem like life has treated you too kindly so far. Change of scenery might not be the worst thing in the world.”

Lightning flashed through the window, illuminating Al-Haitham’s face. Half of it was still wrapped in shadow, blocked by Kaveh’s head, but he could see the distance between them measured, laid flat by the light. The lightning went. The room went dark. But the memory of Al-Haitham’s wide eyes did not leave him.
What did he want?
“Have you?” asked Kaveh.
“Have you?” Al-Haitham’s voice was so quiet, buried under the murmur of the rain.
Kaveh swallowed. “I mean…I thought that was obvious.”
Kaveh accidentally sleeps with Al-Haitham. And then...keeps sleeping with him.
