Summary
Sixteen years old and recruited to live with the Avengers-the first ones, that was. Nick Fury made no promises that it would last forever, and you shouldn't have expected it to. Yet, you became too comfortable with the way things were going for you. The food, the rooms, the friends. Then it all fell apart. Half the team died, including your twin brother.

the new avengers are...struggling to garner the support of the people, for lack of a better word. turns out saving the city from an endless nightmare of back-to-back shame rooms doesn't mean much to people nowadays (who would've thought?). asking captain america to vouch for them is... out of the question, to say the least.
that leaves you: tony stark's pride and joy, the elusive coo of stark industries.
it's valentina's idea, really - an idea that bucky has vehemently tried to shut down. you're just a kid - one he swore to his pal that he'd look after, keep out of trouble. and this has trouble written all over it.
but, if anyone was capable of understanding bob (the power, the sentry, the void) it would be you... right?

Gunfire echoes over your head. Ducking further down, you leant against a metal cabinet that contained (hopefully) information to impeach Valentina Blah de Blah. The sound of bullets rang in your head again. Jeez, wasn't this exactly what Bucky told you not to do?
Oh well you're in it now.
Swiveling on crouched feet, you almost collide with somebody. Acting on instincts, your fist raises ready to fireball them in the face. But their own hand sticks out in a... handshake?
"Oh! Heh.. Hi, I'm Bob."
