Hu Tao trying to sketch a particular cat, capture a frog just to shove it in a terrified Xiao’s face, or to find a rock more vibrant than any of the oil paints Yoimiya owns.
Xiao, laying back in a field of flowers with his eyes closed with the sun beating down on him, on his skin, on his mind. The feeling of fresh cut grass under his fingers and the feeling of a light heart.
Xiao tilts his head to the side and looks at her, her eyes are a little wet and Xiao would be lying if he said his weren’t either. He stirs his icecream a little. “Of course.”
