Viktor hadn’t let Jayce Talis Jump. Whether that had been the right move, well, Viktor thought as they strode through the darkened halls towards Heimerdinger’s office, the man in question only a step behind him, their shadows blending together into one, only time would tell.
Viktor finds himself in a spiral. Jayce gives him a push. Silco is there to break the fall.
An Arcane "What-if," wherein the events of progress day have startlingly different effects. After the disastrous council meeting, Viktor starts visiting Zaun in search of inspiration. The briefing was simple: ‘Stand guard over the Michael Sword until the battle is ready to commence. Await further instructions.’
Castiel doesn’t mind working security duty; he was briefed shortly after the initial salvation of the Sword from the pit, and again before taking up his position. He knows what to do. However, it’s easy to forget that the green room isn’t real. Time moves differently there, the space ever-changing to make a prison of mountains, cathedrals, salt flats, orchards, and whatever Castiel was led to believe about Heaven’s greatest weapon—Dean Winchester is something entirely unexpected.
