Hyunjin is sure of a lot of things.
Like how he has to buckle up and study for his exam or else his teacher won’t be kind enough this time to let him off with just an F-grade; she’ll have him expelled, definitely. Like how he needs to work on his never-close-to-finish oil painting piece and submit it by this Friday for the exhibition or his advisor will probably eat up his pretty hair instead. Like how he is sure he was an absolute idiot when he decided to go up and confess to the Lee Felix.
Oh. My. God. What a disaster.
Like he’s also pretty sure that if that stray cat following him back home doesn’t stop anytime soon, he will most likely choke and die of asphyxiation. Not that he wasn’t already.
or: Hyunjin didn’t expect confessing to Felix to feel like diving headfirst into traffic, but he did it anyway.
Felix didn’t say anything.
And then he disappeared.Now Hyunjin’s walking home alone, heart bruised, dignity in shreds, followed by a suspiciously clingy cat with freckles and heartbreak in its eyes.

Jeongin remains on the grass, staring back at him with an unreadable expression. "Never been kissed, huh."
Seungmin’s arms drop to his sides. "Is it really that big of a deal, loser?" He kicks Jeongin's shoe.
"Depends." Jeongin is smug. "Do you really want to die a hag?"
Seungmin shrugs. "There are worse ways to go."
At that, Jeongin chuckles and finally stands, and Seungmin looks at him without restraint.

Jeongin is pretty—has been this entire time—and Seungmin lets that devastate him.
