Summary
For nearly two months, Sirius’ world had been radio silent; all since that fateful September night.
Sirius had been learning to move around his dormmates, without them, even before them. He no longer needed an alarm clock. His body automatically knew when to get up, to be sure he was well on his way to the great hall by the time they woke. Timed himself perfectly to ensure he wouldn’t get back to the dorm until two minutes before curfew.
He dropped out of Quidditch, to lessen the amount of time he’d be around James, who couldn’t even look him in the eye. He swore off Hogsmeade. Lessening the chance of ruining Remus’ outings. Stopped sitting by the black lake, so Pete didn’t have to worry about accidentally waving to him where someone could see. He owed them that, and so so much more.
He no longer craved attention, instead opting to stay near silent at all times, worried his voice might upset Remus.
His world still revolved around the boy, even if the boy was revolted by the thought of him.
Sirius Orion Black was a shell of his former self.

Summary
This is a Marauders Era canon-esque series spanning 1971-1981 (and hopefully beyond). Installments 1-6 are single POV for each year of Hogwarts. The War Years will encompass multiple POV but in single or double POV parts. It follows the canon timeline and events but is an AU in how I world build with magic and other aspects of the story.
