Marinette first received her miraculous at the age of seventeen. Now, at twenty-two, she was getting tired of this game.
When she was chosen to protect Paris, she was told she and Chat Noir were meant to be the protectors of the city. The Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous' were meant for the two holders to work together as a team. They were supposed to be a yin and yang tale, a completion of the other. But they weren't.
Her other half was on the other side, trying to take her down.
