This is a continuation of one story that is split into two parts (possibly three in the future), beginning in the Winter Soldier days of Bucky Barnes and ending just after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The third part is still in early planning stages, but it will take place around the Thunderbolts timeline. It is an AU story and is focused on the relationship between Bucky and a female original character.

You signed with trembling hands, your mother's face haunting every stroke. The years blurred into camera flashes and runway lights. You became a product, endlessly consumed. Your face was everywhere. Your self was nowhere.
By the time you settled the debt, exhaustion had carved itself into your bones. When your mother passed anyway, anger came in waves. You had sacrificed everything for a fight already lost. You walked away and disappeared into a small town, craving the privacy you'd been denied. You wanted to be invisible, discover who existed underneath.
Then you met Bucky Barnes.
His quiet intensity, those piercing eyes that reminded you of the white wolf on your property. You kept running into him, each encounter leaving a flutter in your chest. You told yourself it was nothing, just coincidence and loneliness. Deep down, you knew better. There was something about Bucky Barnes that felt like fate.
