Summary
People are like paper. They are blank at birth but over time they fold themselves to fit others' expectations.
Iida is like lined paper, neat and perfect, but with perfection comes loneliness. Deku is crumpled-up, desperately trying to smooth out his creases. Kirishima's paper is thick like his skin, but still tears, and Bakugou believes all his sharp edges can do is cut.
Going to UA was supposed to fold them into the perfect heroes. Together, maybe they can unravel themselves to discover who they really are.

Katsuki moves closer to the boy, tilting his chin to meet his eyes. He had the urge to kiss the boy, but they both had face masks on and it wouldn’t be right. Instead he just takes the boy’s hand in his own.

He wasn’t sure where it was originating, his head was just pounding, throbbing with each beat of his heart, and a soft moan escaped his lips from the pain. He would’ve gone back to sleep to escape it if his second realization hadn’t slammed into his mind, overshadowing the ache surrounding it.
He couldn’t remember his name.

He saw Katsuki in time to witness one of his signature eye-rolls, and he smiled.
“Hey, Kats. How are you feeling?” He greeted with a wave.
Katsuki’s eyes went wide, pretty pink flushing his cheeks and he swallowed, “Holy fucking shit.”
“Man, I was so worried about you.” He admits, laughing quietly.
Katsuki shook his head for a split second, “Who the hell are you?”

Pink and red streamers draped across the ceiling. The tables were covered in strawberry-patterned tablecloths. Snacks laid out in plastic strawberry bowls with a stack of paper plates and cups with little cartoony strawberries and strawberry blossoms printed on them. Red and pink polka-dotted balloons topped with green paper leaves (that Katsuki made) framed the open back patio doors. Patio furniture was shoved to the side to frame a red blow-up kiddie pool full of pink, red, and green balls. And then there was Katsuki, wearing an apron with a strawberry printed on the front while he prepped food.
Because his husband's Momsquad had suggested he pick a theme for their daughter's first birthday. And the theme was strawberries.
OR
Katsuki wants to give his daughter the best first birthday ever but SOME PEOPLE (his mother) are really testing his patience. Luckily whenever he feels adrift his family is there to bring him back to earth.
