Summary
Ratchet, a well-off but lonely doctor living in the rich area of Rodion, meets Drift, a homeless prostitute-turned-dancer with a flighty disposition and a good deal of mistrust. Ratchet wants to do everything he can to help Drift, but it'll take a lot to build Drift's confidence after eons of living on the brink of death.
Some attitude and hotheadedness ensues, but there's also a bond forming between them that is impossible for either one of them to ignore.
