Summary
"this had better get us a good grade," jon mutters darkly, scribbling another few words in his notebook.
"relax," says tim. "we'll turn it in, get a B, and forget about all of it."
(a non-linear chronology of five eighth-graders turning their history project into a game that takes on a life of its own.)

Summary
Jan has too much to deal with. One of his flatmates is invisible and the other wears sunglasses at night. Somehow seeing stars during astronomy club became a bad thing. Everywhere he looks there's another sinister plot, and he doesn't understand a single thing that's going on. He's honestly just trying to culture cells, does it have to be this dramatic?

Summary
Jon spends his two free hours in the middle of the day in a little half-desk, half-cubicle in the far corner of the fourth floor of the main library, right next to a wall of large windows overlooking one of the student garages. The area is so secluded that Jon is pretty sure most people think the fourth floor of the main library ends about two shelves over. Well, at least everyone but the student that’s started to sit in the desk pressed against the back of his.

Summary
Jonathan Sims is a bit of an asshole. Martin learns this on his first day of teaching at Magnus Memorial, a job he's been working to get for years. He's swept under the wing of an eclectic group of teachers, but even as his friendship grows with the others, he just can't stop thinking about Jon.
Agnes, Annabelle, and Jane are a package deal at Magnus Memorial. Top of the class, in drama club, winning quiz bowls, trying to find jobs. But the balance of their friendship is in danger when an unexpected person walks in to audition for the play- Jude Perry. Agnes, against every voice of reason in her, is willing to give Jude a chance.A magnus high school AU, including slow burn romance, hijinks, and a little too much alcohol. A world where the Fears are only specialty coffee drinks.

Summary
The thing is, Jonathan Sims is someone you’d call the police on if you saw him hanging around a school, those frazzled clothes and bags under his eyes, the frantic muttering and thousand-year stare.
Yet there he sits, headteacher of The Magnus Institute for Gifted Young Minds.
The name’s a bit misleading, it is. They’re in a bad part of town. The parents are either terrible or absent, and the kids—
“They’re monsters,” his new and handsome coworker grins, when Martin’s signature on his contract is barely dry. “Absolute monsters. Get too close and you’ll lose some fingers. Or maybe your mind.”
“They’re babies,” is all Martin can feebly manage, in reply, and Tim’s eyes narrow at the fondness in his voice.

Summary
He fell into a deep bow, smiling the whole while. “I’m the ringmaster, of course.”
“Is that skin— Is it yours?” Old wood groaned as the Archivist shifted his weight. “Originally.”
“It is!” the ringmaster said as he swooped back upright. “Nikola decided I wore it well, so she let me keep it. Why do you ask?”
The Archivist gave him another once-over. “You just… you look familiar. Like someone I know.”
On relearning, reconnecting, and redefining.

Summary
Basira paused in the middle of some thousandth email she was replying to. “Do you think you could tell where Magnus is now?”
Chin in hand, Tim took a moment to think. “I might be able to, but I wasn’t really around him enough after all this happened to get a proper lock on what he feels like. Even then, it depends on how far he is — the only ones I can hold onto across long distances are Jon, Martin and you.”
Or, in which when becomes soon becomes now, and the End is here.

Summary
A moment or an eternity later, Timothy Stoker gasped with lungs that did not exist, blinked against the light with eyes that were not there and, despite the refusal of contradiction in the not-place that killed him and the not-empty that held him, became his own not-living contradiction in the living world.
Or, in which Jon is not the only member of the archive staff to stumble into becoming an avatar.

Summary
“Oh, I get it,” Melanie says to her. “It all makes sense now! You know, for the record, I was completely wrong about you, too. Like, I thought you didn’t have a sense of humour: I could never get you to laugh, no matter what I did. You were just absolutely uncharmable.”
“Hey!” says Georgie, offended, and hits her clumsily across the arm, “Don’t be rude! I make you laugh all the time.”
“You do,” says Melanie, and she sounds buzzed and completely fond in a way that sets Georgie’s stomach rolling.

It’s like a hammer has been brought down on her heart and cracked it wide open.Or, Georgie Barker discovers the butch identity, and where she fits into it.

Summary
"The sound of a tape recorder running is as easy as a heartbeat nowadays, so familiar that it doesn’t even register as worthy of noticing, even when it very much should not be happening. Everyone else seems to notice, which is good, because it means that when Jon is around people, it’s easier to catch them. Everyone also seems to think Jon’s doing it on purpose somehow, which is. Less good.
The real problem is that he doesn’t really spend that much time around people these days."Series

Gerry watches Michael closely. “You haven’t killed me yet. But you keep coming back. So… why?” Then, the real question: “Is this just your fucked up way of trying to claim me for the Spiral? Because I’m pretty sure the Eye’s already called dibs.”
Michael giggles. “Oh no,” he says. “The Eye wants you, yes, but not the way I do.”
