"Stop taking snacks from Ellis," Yolanda mutters after pulling away just enough to be able to speak, lips still brushing against Trinity's.
"You're being silly." Trinity snorts.
"Fine. Only when we're not working the same shift."

"You almost got me killed," Garcia drawls, pressing the barrel of the gun in between her eyebrows this time, and Trinity has to physically restrain herself from trying something.
"You know you're not supposed to expose yourself, right?" Trinity seethes. "What happened to handler-agent separation, hm?"

Summary
It wasn’t the idea of talking to Yolanda that scared the shit out of Trinity. It was the thought of being alone with Yolanda after not seeing her for quite a while, and knowing Yolanda, she’d always preferred to have conversations in private. It had taken her three months and a gorgeous woman later to feel like she’d moved on from Yolanda, from the pain she’d caused and the doubt she’d planted in Trinity’s mind.
Over her dead body, she’d allow this woman to ruin any progress she’d made for herself.
or
It's been six months since Trinity last saw Yolanda. She's moved on, she's going out again, and Yolanda doesn't affect her anymore. Really, she doesn't. Besides, Trinity has more important things to do: investigate an alleged cheater and set things straight with Mr. Robby, the principal.

Summary
So yeah, maybe Santos had Garcia’s driver card stuck to her bedroom mirror during her formative teenage years, and maybe that headshot of Garcia with the trademark no-nonsense look on her face played some small part in her discovering her sexuality. And maybe in the back of her mind, she was thinking of Garcia when she declared her major in mechanical engineering, when she was pulling all-nighters with the FSAE team, when she was doing her PhD at the University of Pittsburgh before everything fell apart, again. Whatever, it’s not weird.

Summary
“I’m Enid Sinclair,” the girl says, and holds her hand out in a firm motion, asking to be shook. Wednesday keeps her eyes on the girl, Enid, for a second longer before focusing back on her typing, ignoring the hand being offered. After a few moments of silence, Enid drops it.
“Is that supposed to mean something to me?” she bites, squinting just a little when Enid makes no move to leave. The girl is so bright, face and hair more colorful than the flowers she keeps. It’s almost nauseating.
“I heard you were hiring,” Enid says, still confident. “I’m here for the job.”
Wednesday’s fingers slip, and the typewriter prints a line of jumbled letters. Her head snaps up at the girl, watching her cheery smile drop to something more anxious when Wednesday does nothing but stare angrily. She looks back at the paper, scanning the line she just messed up:
bfjaie, it reads.

Wednesday owns a flower shop. Enid needs a job. Their lives entangle.
