"For one," Mike sighs, propping onto one elbow to look at Will properly, "Holly definitely has a crush on you."
Will squints, just barely, lips curling up in amusement. It takes Mike an excruciatingly long time to detect what exactly Will thinks of this matter, but what comes out is soft, mellow, and not particularly to Mike’s enjoyment: "That's kind of cute."
“It is not,” Mike hisses, and Will shoots him a grin. “She always talks about you, always giggles whenever you talk to her, and because she's like, incredibly adorable, and you’re so good with kids, I'm going to be trailing behind you guys like an absolute loser because she totally hogs you.”
"Wait," Will blurts, brows drawing close. "Are you jealous?"
Mike Wheeler is many things, but he is never jealous.
Except — maybe this time he is.

"Woah," Mike breathed. His eyes widened as they landed on Will's flushed face. "Your cheeks are really red, dude." He reached forward, setting the box on the counter next to a bowl and a carton of eggs.
Will tried to pretend like he wasn't dying on the inside. "Hot," he managed, voice higher than its usual pitch. His eyes betrayed him as he looked up and down Mike's half-naked form. His jaw tightened as he forcefully snapped his eyes back up and away from Mike’s waist. "Hot in here, I mean. Not you.” Jesus Christ, Will, focus, he told himself. This was the moment he decided he was officially suffering. This was a hostage situation and Mike was torturing him with his stunning physique.
“What, you don't think I look hot?” Mike teased, gesturing to himself, as if he couldn't make it any worse.
Is he doing this on purpose? Does he think this is funny? Does he know the way my guts start doing acrobatics inside of me when he’s around? Or, is he completely oblivious?
Will couldn't decide which was worse.

Will and Mike share an apartment and their air conditioning breaks in the middle of summer and they have to get naked to stay cool.

“I’ve been thinking about what you said.” Mike swallowed.
“I said a lot. Remind me what do you mean.”
He wanted to scream, the way he teased him when he clearly knew what Mike referred to. Fuck it. Worst thing was he said no. I just had to ask. “When you went off my lap and we were both fucking hard.” Mike noticed Will flinched at the tone in his voice. “When you leaned over to me.” Now Mike leaned toward Will’s ear. “And when you said.” He started to whisper, “You know I can help you with that.”
Goosebumps formed on Will’s neck.
“I’ve been thinking about that all evening.” He took Will’s earlobe between his lips. “I know you did too."Coming home from college for the winter break, the party meets to catch up, drink and have a fun time. In a game of truth or dare, Will has to give Mike a hickey, but in their drunken state they can't keep their hands from another and are turned on more than they should. After heated nights together, Will proposes to be friends with benefits, which definitely never brought anyone in trouble before...
