Ilya hates that he cannot go anywhere on campus without people daydreaming and gushing about Hollander now. The thing is, he understands the hype. He's straight, not blind, so if he notices breathtaking freckles, lovely eyes and pretty plump lips on top of a stunning face and ravishing body, it’s totally normal because he's an open-minded individual.
He also shouldn't care about who Hollander dates, except whenever he thinks about it, his stomach always turns so violently that it feels like his insides are fucking crawling out of his mouth and spilling onto the ground.

Shane froze. Uh oh. He slowly turned to look down the hallway. The tall frame of a 6’2” Russian man stood in the doorway of his penthouse suite, face cloaked in shadows.
It was at this moment that Shane knew he was fucked. Maybe if he didn’t move, Rozanov wouldn’t see him?
Rozanov took another step, mouth open to say something else that would probably inspire equal parts fear and arousal in Shane, but he wasn’t sticking around to hear it.
He bolted for the fire exit.

“Dennis, hey, can you understand me?” Robby light tapped his face, taking a seat on the bed, but he could barely see anything. Everything was going in and out. Was he dying? It was so hot. “I think you’re in heat, Dennis.”
"N-No! I'm not. You can't be here!" In hopes of getting the attending out of his room, he reached over to grab the pillow to his side, but it was nowhere to be found. Was he in his heat? That doesn’t make sense. He’s not due for his heat for another couple of weeks.
“Could this be a flash heat? Have you been overly stressed this week? Any new big changes—oh.” Robby took a step back, all the pieces forming together in his mind. The poor thing was practically shaking when he entered his home. From the background the omega had told him, he doubted he had ever received proper information on omega biology and flash heats. This poor omega in his bed is dealing with an even more extreme heat than normal.

Robby asked Dennis to move in a week before he left for sabbatical, but the new environment caused him to experience a flash heat.
