It’s 1973 in San Francisco and Daniel is at the peak of his life. Realistically speaking, since he probably won’t live for that long.
But being hot and honest and cruel can bring you a long way, if you’re okay with dropping some of the morals your mother instilled within you.
It can also lead you right to the vampires, who never had mothers to instill morals in them. Or maybe they did. Daniel had never asked about that.
Or: When the genre is supposed to be horror, but the characters pretend it’s a drug-induced and kinky romcom.
