Kiyoomi extends his palm. “Give me the book.”
“Fine,” Atsumu says with a sigh. “Maybe we can try that some other time, and tonight—”
“Give it to me,” Kiyoomi clarifies, “so I can read it to you. I want to start on the previous page.”
Atsumu walks in on Kiyoomi reading erotica and happily volunteers to reenact the scenes while Kiyoomi reads them. It's exciting and hot and new, but more than anything Kiyoomi is terrified when he is forced to confront what is real and what is fiction about being friends with benefits.

“So,” Atsumu says slowly. “What brings the great Omi-Omi to my room tonight?”
Do it all the way. Kiyoomi turns around to face Atsumu and straightens his shoulders. Do it right. He takes a deep breath and offers the various chocolates to Atsumu, who accepts them with trembling hands.
“You got me chocolates,” Atsumu whispers, his eyes widening at the assortment of candies that he recognizes as his favorites.
“Atsumu,” Kiyoomi says.
Atsumu’s head jerks up at Kiyoomi, and a bag of chocolates falls out of his hands and onto the floor. His wide eyes are startled, overcome with a wild intensity. His lips part, and he takes in a shuddering breath.
“Yes, Omi?”
Or: Kiyoomi decides to buy Atsumu chocolates for Valentine's Day.
