Summary
I lived with this hunger long before the Hail Mary. This is nothing new. I’m fine.
Right up until Rocky asks another question.
“When last time you touch other human person skin, question?”
Oh. Oh no. “When I… a few days after I first woke up here.”
Rocky starts to relax for a split second, but then tightens when something occurs to him.
“Grace crewmates dead when you wake up. You said this, statement. You not even know your own name, remember nothing, see dead bodies, confirm?”
I nod, because if I open my mouth I will gag.
“When last time Grace touch ALIVE human person, question.”
I swallow thickly. I don’t answer aloud because I know Rocky can hear the hitch in my breath. My stomach churns with fresh bile. He senses my vital signs tick over into stress patterns and goes very, very still again.
“Grace. When last time, question.”
I clench my jaw so hard my temples ache, and beg him with my eyes to just stop.
“Grace. Please say not when… when Evil Stratt humans put you to sleep.”
I can taste grass.

5 times the Batfam make assumptions about Percy Jackson with only the available information, and the one time they learned the truth.
Assumption 1: Percy is Bruce’s lovechild. (Jason) (That one was corrected rather quickly)
Assumption 2: Percy is a terrorist. (Steph) (It was a joke until it wasn't)
Assumption 3: Percy is an assassin. (Damien) (No one is surprised by that)
Assumption 4: Percy is in a cult. (Tim) (He has proof)
Assumption 5: Percy has died and been brought back using the Lazarus Pit. (Jason) (And he's not happy about it)And Dick is the one they all use as a sounding board and he doesn't know how to respond.
Chapters 1-11 are the main story. Chapter 12 on are bonus chapters that bring me joy. Technically complete, but there may be more bonus chapters as the muse strikes because I love this world.

Summary
Percy is stuck in Gotham for a few weeks with nothing to do.
On the bright side, his new friends are at least as weird as Percy, so he doesn't need to pretend to be a boring, untraumatized mortal. Maybe Alvin from the skatepark (who is definitely a vigilante, not that Percy cares) can help him plan Henri's 100th birthday party! Henri is a Greenland shark at Gotham Aquarium and this is a totally normal thing to do with friends. Also, that kid Damian might want to spar some time. It's nice to know people who appreciate the awesomeness of swords.
Meanwhile, the Bats experience several mental breakdowns.
Percy constantly says the most out of pocket things. He's a trained fighter. He has no criminal ties, unless you count an accusation of terrorism at age twelve (?!?). He is lowkey terrifying but also has the mellow vibes of a surfer dude. Is he a threat? Oh, for sure. Is he a friend? Somehow, also yes. Is he going to get adopted by Bruce when he discovers this dark-haried green-eyed former child soldier? Not if Percy can help it.
