The collective groan from the three other men only served to make the corners of Soaps mouth twitch back into his trademark smile.Soap, Ghost, Price and Gaz end up on a mission that is colder and way less eventful than anticipated, and of course Soap decides to fill the silence with the first question that comes to mind.

“I’m not gonna play matchmaker.”
The very idea almost made him laugh out loud. Alejandro did bark a laugh, however, loud enough to earn curious glances from the other three men, who thankfully stood out of earshot of their conversation.
“Por favor no! Though that would be a sight, captain. I simply ask you to make sure they don’t accidentally break their necks on this,”
Price smiled as the rest of the team approached.
“I’ll do my best.”

“I have no fuckin’ clue what you two are on about,” Ghost stated tonelessly. “Fuck’s a Tim Allen?”
“You’ve never seen The Santa Clause?” Gaz asked, grasping at his chest in feigned shock.
“Seen ‘im? Just shot the guy.” Ghost wiped blood off on Soap’s shirt sleeve, making him swat at the hand. “Also, what about me made you think I watch a lot of Christmas movies? I need to correct that.”
“Ghost, you’d love it. Santa dies within, like, the first five minutes.”
“... Promising concept.”
A mission drags out and the 141 are stuck in the States for Christmas. Luckily, the Laswells welcome the extra company. While Soap misses his family, he doesn’t really mind spending the holiday with his second one.
