Summary
It’s the 2nd of May 1998. The battle of Hogwarts is underfoot. Harry walks into the Forest for what he believes will be the last time.

Another nod that Bobby doesn't even see, but he keeps going.
"What if you had someone you trusted, that could get you out of your own head. Not meaningless, but no commitments either so you could keep looking for something more serious."
For a second Buck just stares, not quite sure what he's getting at.
And when it hits him, it knocks the wind from his chest and a laugh so loud it reverberates through the cab of the truck because there's no way on God's green earth Bobby is suggesting what Buck thinks he's suggesting.
But then he finally turns to look at Buck and there's caution in his gaze, but heat too and Buck's never been one to spare a second thought at a man who looks at him like that but this is Bobby and his cock stirs and is instantly on board with whatever Bobby is offering.

You had me all along.” For a moment, Dean feels like he can’t breathe, the creeping reality that maybe Castiel will leave him again sinking through him. Maybe this time it won’t be the Empty crawling over Castiel and dragging him away, maybe this time Castiel will be taken forever by a furious God.

Crowley has to find out some way to keep existing, in spite of the pain of their loss.Meanwhile, in Heaven, Aziraphale tries his damned hardest to stay true to his purpose and principles. But Heaven's light has always been capable of corruption, it's just that the full force of it has never been directed at him.
A reunion (and tears, and apologies) are inevitable.
