“This.” Dean says, like it’s the obvious thing in the world. Of course, Castiel says nothing and just continues to stare at him waiting for an explanation, so Dean takes a sip out of his beer before going on. “You’re leaving, right?”
Castiel nods. It’s such a short and subtle movement, Dean barely notices it. “I have to.”
“No you don’t.” Dean murmurs to himself, before feeling his body tense up.
Castiel has obviously heard — he’s an angel, for fuck’s sake —, but he says nothing about it and Dean feels kind of relieved.
