Ran looks over the arrangement. The studio lighting casts a soft, warm glow over it, highlighting the individual petals. It’s an interesting bouquet for sure, for all the flowers are of uniform color, which is fairly unusual. Some of the petals are lighter in color than the others, varying in brightness and hue, vibrant violets and muted mauves, and some with scattered lines of white encircling the petals.Alternatively: the tattoo artist/florist MocaRan AU no one asked for.

It's rare for anyone to notice a change in Toya's behavior. Hell, it's hard for even Akito sometimes, and they've been partners together for two years at this point. That usually means that whatever he's feeling now, it's extreme enough to affect his whole posture. Whenever that's the case, Akito has reason to be concerned. How many times has he had to console and reassure Toya that he's doing the right thing in living for himself and not his father's ideals? Akito would do it again and again, but unless Toya opens up, it's pointless to say anything at all, it's like talking to a brick wall.
Akito's the kind of guy used to hitting that kind of wall over and over again though, so he's prepared to do it for the sake of his partner.

Technically speaking, Eichi is too old to be having sleepovers, but he spent most of his youth in isolation rooms at the hospital or sequestered away from the world. He likes to think of it as making up for lost time, and, really, it isn’t as though any of the servants are going to tell him otherwise. At any rate, it’s only half the sort of sleepover he would have had as a child, given there’s far less candy than a younger version of himself would have wanted, and far more boyfriend than he would have foreseen.

She’s a bit confused about where she is for a moment, immediately suspicious as she tries to remember how she could have ended up in this glade that looks nothing like Rome.

Hamid being embarrassed over the kobolds was funny at the start, but it quickly turned into irritation and confusion on the part of Cel, worry and hesitation on the part of Azu, and Zolf had never found it funny to begin with. Wilde hadn’t been a fan, mostly due to concerns about the mission, although Azu caught him giving all the kobolds concerned looks at times. Even Carter was starting to feel uncomfortable with it, and it seemed Barnes was even less impressed with Hamid than he had been at the start.
So, they’d decided to address it. Meet it head-on, as it were. Well. Zolf had decided, first, and then Azu had run the pros and cons of Zolf confronting Hamid alone, and had quickly hopped up to join him.

Hamid’s not as subtle as he thinks he is - or maybe he’s not trying to be subtle, and it just took Zolf longer than he thought to catch on. Whatever it is, Hamid’s acting… weird, specifically weird toward Zolf, and Zolf doesn’t know… what he did? He knows Hamid’s mad at him, or at least frustrated with him, for something, and hell, there’s a whole long laundry list somewhere of “Reasons To Be Mad At Zolf,” but… he’s not sure how to fix it. Or what set it off. Which straw broke the camel’s back, as it were.
