"You looked in pain on stage. Are you hurting anywhere?", Hanbin ask trying to hide the lump in his throat from seeing his dear in such a state.
"I'm okay-", he grunts as he reaches for the side of his stomach. His eyes close shut from the pain, "It's nothing really", he explains biting a little too hard on his lower lip.
"You don't look like you're feeling okay.", Hanbin says, tightening his grip on his hyungs hand. "You can tell me how you feel. It's okay."
When Hao starts feeling sick after the groups concert, Hanbin makes sure to stay by his side and take care him in any way he can.

“He’s not a flirt,” Hao said, the words falling out of his mouth a little too fast.
Everyone stared at him, various shades of amusement on their faces. “I mean,” he clarified, clearing his throat. “He’s just… friendly.”
“Friendly,” Jiwoong echoed, unconvinced. “And he just so happened to choose the seat next to you in class?”
“Let me guess, did he ask to call you hyung, too?” Taerae added, smirking.
“Careful, hyung. At this rate, it sounds like he’ll ask you to be his date to the Yule Ball,” Ricky teased.
Hao bit his lip, refusing to look at any of them.

“Right,” Matthew says suspiciously, and the curl of his lips means that Hanbin should start to be afraid now. “I see. You’re trying to get in his pants.” Hanbin tries to interject but Matthew plows on, “You know he’s, like, thirty, right? I mean, nothing wrong with that, just didn’t know you were into that stuff—”
“Yes, I know that,” Hanbin finally manages to cut in. Due to the fact that Matthew has refused to let him get a word in, his volume has risen, and he self-consciously does another check of the room. Voice lower when he continues, “And he’s not thirty. He’s twenty-nine.”
“Wow, big difference. So the ‘getting in his pants’ thing is true.”
Or: When Hanbin meets older idol Zhang Hao while MCing, he doesn't expect for the man to be so...flirty. Or for himself to get so attached.

Summary
It takes him a couple months to realize that he's popular even beyond his small circle. That people whisper about him on campus because they find him handsome. That they don't suspect anything at all—he's just a pretty boy they can admire, giggle over, crush on.
It's heady, this victory.
And it's easier, after that, to sink into the burgeoning love he has for his own body. This body that he has so carefully shaped: surgery; hormone therapy; late night or early morning gym sessions to get some muscle definition, sneaking swims in the school pool after hours so no one would see the scars on his chest; hours of following vocal lessons online to change his voice; hours practicing how to walk, how to carry himself, how to blend in with his cis peers. He carved Zhang Hao into existence piece by bloody piece and he's proud of who he's become.
Or: It has been a long, difficult road from a quiet house in Fujian to arena stages in Seoul. Now, Zhang Hao struggles to balance idol life with secrets that he has kept buried for years, and then there is this love for Sung Hanbin that just won't die.
