Summary
Lando Norris is on the path to becoming the next Formula 1 World Champion, and only one thing stands in his way:
Oscar Piastri.
With Lando racing for McLaren and Oscar at Mercedes, their rivalry only seems to intensify with each point.
After a disappointing race result and a few too many drinks, Lando accidentally posts a tweet targeted at Oscar. Having created a bad look for himself and McLaren, public relations is forced to clean up the media nightmare.
Unfortunately for Lando, this means he'll have to put on a show, pretending Oscar is one of his "close friends," and making the post seem like a simple misunderstanding- not something a serious competitor would do.
Spending time with his rival is the last thing Lando wants.
Even worse, falling for him.

Leaning in close, Harvey murmurs, “You’re awfully mouthy for this early in the evening.”
Mike tilts his head, flirtatious confrontation as the car rolls to a stop. “Bit early in the evening to be discussing my mouth, don’t you think? Sir?”
“Tell you what,” Harvey muses lowly. “You make me look good tonight, I’ll do more than just discuss it. Fair?”
Mike gulps and nods, light-headed, and he doesn’t think it’s from yesterday’s blood loss. He can feel Harvey’s breath on his lips, smell his cologne, subtle and smooth, thinks maybe he’s gonna get luckier than he’d hoped, and then with a smirk Harvey reaches across his body and cracks open the door. “Out,” he commands, and Mike sighs, hauling his tired ass out of the car. Figures.

Slow updates possibly, because I have trauma with DV myself. This fic started as a project to help me work through my trauma, but after I got a little tipsy and decided to post it on TikTok a lot of people wanted to read this fic. I hope this finds someone who will enjoy reading as much as I will enjoy writing, but due to how close to home the abuse aspect is, it might be a while between chapters. But I promise I won't abandon it, and will still post as regularly as I can. This fic is too important for me to just abandon 🤗 Y'all just might have to bear with me.
Also some of the chapters are REALLY long lol so it takes a while to edit them.
