He pauses. "It is." Furrows his brow, as if that explanation doesn't quite fit the bill of what he'd meant. "Or rather... it would be. I fear the short answer is much less interesting, but the long one requires a bit of... background."
Her cheek snuggles further into the pillow. The blankets are pulled up to her chin, shrouding them both in what feels like a moment suspended. Her sleep-soft eyes seek his, ever curious.
"Tell me."
