Summary
Coupé is going to kill Robert Robertson. She’s got the time. The date. The method. He is a dead man walking and nothing—not even several other assassins trying to kill a normie dispatcher for some reason—is going to stop her. AKA: Coupé tries to kill Robert and accidentally saves him instead. God. So embarrassing. Ugh.

Summary
She gaped at something behind him. He turned around to see what she was looking at, only to find bare walls and a sleeping Beef. It was embarrassingly minimal, but nothing frightening. Robert stared at her in confusion as she stepped past him to explore the small apartment.
“Damn, bitch, you live like this?” She said, pushing up her shades to survey the space. “No kind of carpet on your concrete floor. Giant crack in the wall. Where do you even sleep?”
Robert looked away. “It’s… complicated,” he muttered, eyeing the only piece of furniture in the room.
Or: Prism buys Robert a bed. That’s it that’s the fic.

Summary
Malevola has him pinned against her side, hanging onto him like she’s afraid he’s going to get swallowed by the drunken crowd. Sonar is on her other side, ears glowing faintly with the strobe lights as he knocks into her repeatedly.
Visi swings by, wipes the corner of his mouth, then disappears. Hot hands find his head a second- seconds? minutes? later. The flash of orange and black coming closer has him swaying dangerously to catch whatever Flambae starts to mutter against his ear. Something about shitty music?
Coop saunters past with a glint of metal, prying the empty tumbler from his hand. Punch Up appears with a full one to replace it. It makes his face flush when he takes a swig.
“Yo! Anyone seen Golem?” Prism pushes through. She’s got Waterboy by the wrist; She might be about to use him to purposely slip people and get them out of her way. Phenomaman is floating after them.
Visi comes back again, this time with Blazer holding on for dear life. They’re hugging like it’s the end of the world instead of just being drunk in a shitty bar. Blazer smiles, dimples showing. His vision swims.
The whiskey burns. So does the ache in his chest.

Summary
Blonde Blazer feels herself unwind a bit– not in relief, no, but in confusion. The person under the mask is… A man. A young man with striking blue eyes. Eyes that’re weighed down by heavy eyebags, highlighting sunken cheeks and unruly facial and head hair. There’s a chip on his right ear. There are veins crawling up his neck.
“I’m not asking you to believe me.” His voice is raspy with signs of disuse, Adam’s apple bobbing up and down as if it isn’t used to the movement. “I’m asking you to arrest me.”
