These injuries, the small things like broken fingers and bruised knuckles and bruised knees, those are battle marks, things Megumi received with dignity. Most of his life has been served to him on a silver platter; this, at least, he knows he earned.
With a plop, the dumpling Megumi tries to hold between the chopsticks falls back into the broth.
"D'ya want help?" Yuuji asks, already scooting his chair over and snagging the utensil from Megumi without an answer, infinitely more coordinated as he snags a dumpling without popping it.

Summary
It's fitting, Michizou thinks, that his past comes to haunt him when he's drunk and half-dressed, leg thrown over the side of whoever's bathtub he's in. It might be Higuchi's. It's hazy — could be his fault, could be the cigarette smoke in the air.
There are frantic, agitated gestures, so familiar and so foreign in front of him.
Michizou waves them off lazily. It's a dick move. He knows that. "I'm — outta practice and half-here, man. Don't start yelling at me now."
There's an annoyed huff. Then a quiet, seething, "this is pathetic," and Michizou knows that, and he doesn't care. If he was supposed to care, he wouldn't be here, at a party, at university, or even living at all.
Then, when Michizou is beginning to come to his senses and wonder why Gin Akutagawa has tracked him down this far, Gin gives a self-defeated, "I need your help."

Junichirou Tanizaki is a part-time Detective and a part-time student, and he likes to keep it at that. He’s a responsible, kind, easily-flustered ability-user, and needs help on his grammar every once in a while. Respectable, and kind, that’s Junichirou.
Imagine Michizou’s shock when the Agency’s resident 'wimpy' detective is hidden away by the pier, licking his wounds with liquor on his breath.

Summary
While getting severely injured in one of Yokohama's backalleys wasn't on Doppo Kunikida's agenda, it certainly is something that happens; he isn't expecting a savior when he's unable to move himself.
Doppo's savior comes in the form of a strange mafioso named Chuuya, who takes Doppo to his apartment to patch him up. A chance meeting that, perhaps, the universe will not forget.

Summary

Except they’re in their sophomore year of university, and his teenage crush isn’t going away.
When a house party gets out of control, Yuuji wakes up the next morning to a trashed home, hungover roommates, nine missed calls from his family, and Fushiguro snoring across his chest. Summary
Doppo Kunikida is not the sports type; in fact, he’d rather make a habit of breaking into the library — which he does — than picking up any sort of ball for whatever amalgamation of catch sports come up with. It isn’t his idea to wind up as the sole catcher for the high school team in a small, dead-end town, but it’s his life regardless.
Chuuya Nakahara, the way Doppo sees it, is the star that will go on to outshine them all. Chuuya won’t let his light skip over the one person he keeps close to him — but Doppo is starting to realize that Chuuya’s planning on bringing Doppo with him, too.

Summary
Chuuya Nakahara is a soldier. This is inevitable - wherever he is, he acts out a will that is not his own because loyalty defines him. The Sheep. The Flags. The Port Mafia as a whole.
When he is eight years old, he is taken from a lab and he does not know that he is responsible for the destruction of a city. Summary
Chuuya Nakahara wakes in the infirmary of the Armed Detective Agency with no memories of what landed him there, or why he isn't able to manipulate gravity at will.
Dazai's at his side, tight-lipped about the ordeal and hiding behind his veneer of calm, and lets the doctor inform Chuuya that he'll be staying at the Armed Detective Agency until further notice, the deal already negotiated between their organizations.
Living with Dazai keeps bringing up the past, though, and there's nothing worse than being forced back into old memories where none new can form.

Between Michizou Tachihara's bad habit of trying to pass the time and finding a reason to justify what he does with his life - being a guitarist in a small band -, he accidentally finds his religion in the form of their bassist - Gin Akutagawa - when she rarely gives him the time of day beyond impulsive hook-ups.
Unfortunately, change is on the horizon after their drummer Higuchi walks in on something she shouldn't, and Gin doesn't want to talk about it. As per usual.
