“And what you fail to mention is that vampire’s wounds heal on their own.” Yuu’s green eyes narrowed on him, searching. He leaned in and Mika’s lungs stopped. “Right here,” he said, pressing two fingers into the slit that was still leaking. “This is going to heal in under two minutes.”
“Then what?” Mika rasped. “You’re gonna kill me? If so, do it quickly; I woke up to a noise complaint stuck to my door.”

Jabber whistles appreciatively, "Man, you're in a mood today. Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" and cackles at his own joke. Zanka's gonna strangle him. He's gonna rip out those bars with his bare hands and use them to beat Jabber to death.
