Mike thinks it all started the day the Byers moved into their house.
Having sold their house in Hawkins a year and a half prior and moved to California, when they came back, and the town got put in lockdown, they didn’t have a place to go.
Mike had kindly offered up their place during dinner.

Read the entire thing in a day 🤤🤤🤤 when the author is so good u start to lowkey develop feelings for them cuz they’re jus so talented 🤤🤤🤤 the way they write dialogue between characters and just the way they go over Mike’s character makes me so emotional because it rlly is just so relatable I love this so much I’m in love with this author aughhhh they’re so awsum 10/10 this is actually my fav byler fic so far (srry lameparties 🥹🥹)

Am I ashamed that I’m this interested in the book I read in English so much that I would go on ao3 for a fanfic search for them??? No. No im not. The Body by Stephen King was amazing ok. I JUST RLLY LIKE CHRIS AND GORDIES RELATIONSHIP OK 💔. I also started reading as like a slight joke but this fanfic is actually rlly good im not even joking. I’m also gonna pretend the movie doesn’t exist cuz i refuse to believe that in the movie they got rid of the canon gay soo yeah stand by me isn’t real sooo yeah anyway this is a great fanfic plz read
