Flame's hand extended upwards, fingers reaching for the stars that were finally visible after what felt like years of carnage — even if it had realistically only been months. The smoke from constant explosions and fires had covered them before Flame could properly say goodbye to them at the beginning of it all.

He felt himself getting tucked in, head too fogged up to even process by who, or what, other than it was comforting. Lulling, as his cheek continued to be caressed over and over.
It's a welcomed moment of respite, and he can't help but slip into slumber because of it.

“You’re being stupid,” they protest.
“If keeping us safe is stupid, then sure, you can think of it that way,” Parrot shrugs, doubling down. There's something bittersweet about them arguing over trivial things again, it's reminiscent of how things used to be. “Besides, they'll only get messed up again.” He continues, voice quiet to reduce the echo.
It's nice knowing that they can still fall easily back into place after being separated for so long.

“It's grown so much longer since last time Mapicc cut it,” Hannah points out, fingers brushing through it. It's true, although hair growth is normal, however Minute doesn't comment on it. She knows she's just trying to start up a conversation, plus Hannah's fingers feel too nice for him to deny anything. “Can I braid it?” She adds.
Nodding, Minute offers himself up by leaning into her touch. “Yeah, why not," Minute can almost imagine how her smile looks already from behind him.
