Through some strings she pulled, one of the managers agreed to drive her to Mina’s apartment, quoting, “You do not know where your girlfriend lives?” Jeongyeon got matters on her hands and figured that she doesn’t have the time to roll her eyes now.

Dahyun chokes a little on her own breath. Was Mina always this… clingy? With her?
She racks her brain for any instance in the past where Mina might have acted this way toward her, but the pressure Mina’s cute frown pushes onto her is too much that Dahyun blanks out instead. Sure, she loves all her best friends in varying degrees, but Dahyun can’t deny the existence of that especially soft, mushy spot which exists only for Mina to push and mold however she sees fit.

She remembers admiring how the ballerinas oozed elegance and gracefulness as they glided across the stage, feet barely touching the ground as though they were floating in the air, arms stretched out high like they were asking the wind to carry them away.
Right now, however, Dahyun feels like she’s the one who’s soaring in the clouds. It’s hard not to; not when Mina seems to trust in her ability to not fall short in carrying the tune and, in turn, derail the melody and rhythm that her body seems to have grown accustomed to.

As they walk outside the theater, Dahyun shields Mina’s hand from the frigid air by clutching it closer to her side, the firmness of her grasp causing Mina’s heart to skip a beat. Even as they take their seats inside the bus, Dahyun doesn’t let go even though there’s no reason for her to keep holding her hand, but Mina chooses not to say anything.
She lets her head fall on Dahyun’s shoulder instead, thumb pressed against Dahyun’s knuckles the entire ride home.
