Beverly’s annoyed scowl shifts into a smug little smirk as she peers down from her perch at poor, unsuspecting Max. The ideas she’d pieced together in her caffeine-addled, sleep-deprived brain during finals week were coming together to form a truly exciting scene, which would end with him underneath her, completely vulnerable and pleading for more and more of her. She stifles a giggle at the thought of having him aching and at her mercy.

“He – you know that thing he does, where he talks to the baby?” Izuku’s face lightens up a bit at the mention of their son’s heart-melting habit. Katsuki feels himself smiling, too.
Ever since they broke the news to Toshi that he’s going to be a big brother, he’s taken the role very seriously.
Their favorite thing of all is Toshi’s habit to talk to his sibling. He either waits until Izuku is sat down to join him or he follows his dad around to keep his face pressed against Izuku’s belly as he speaks to the baby.
He doesn’t just tell the baby “hello”, “good morning”, or “sweet dreams”. Toshi will talk about anything and everything with the baby, fully convinced they can hear him. Izuku had talked his head off to Toshi when he was still carrying him, but he hadn’t had a chance to do so for his current pregnancy before Toshi crawled into bed with him one morning to settle against his stomach and tell the baby all about the dream he’d had the night before.
