Fushiguro Megumi is a top student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo. Itadori Yuuji is also enrolled. Technically.
They've been rivals since first year. Allegedly. As far as Megumi’s concerned, anyway. Itadori seems blissfully unaware of this, which somehow makes it worse. Now they’ve both tanked their moot, their partners hate them, and they’re being forced to work together for the resit.
Failure isn't an option. Unfortunately, neither is avoiding Itadori. Falling for him was never in the agreement. But somewhere along the way, the terms changed.

“Thanks,” Megumi said, looking anywhere but the pink haired boy’s face. He was absolutely mortified. He was grateful too, but mostly mortified. “I’m fine now.” he exhaled and nodded.
The boy didn’t look convinced. He held a hand near Megumi’s shoulder, as if ready to catch him again. Warm brown eyes gazed at Megumi.
Megumi wheezed once more, and scowled, ashamed.
“You sure, dude?” His voice was soft, like he was trying not to scare some baby animal. “You’re bleeding. Like, everywhere. And… you almost face-planted again.”
Megumi huffed.
“This isn’t my first race. I’m okay.”
Fuck, Megumi was so embarrassed. Oh god. Him and his weak-ass legs.

The boy eyes him, silent for a moment. He studies Yoshiki, but he’s not judgmental, and it’s weird, he thinks. Not being judged.
“I was a monster, too,” the boy eventually says. “He still loves me.”
__OR: crossover moment!!! the jjk trio are sent to kubitachi on a mission to identify and monitor potential curse activity in the area. at the same time, yoshiki meets a couple of city folk who just might be able to change his entire life’s perspective.
