His presence was simply too good to be true, his reverence too profound, and his words too sweet; the honey that dripped from him would surely poison you eventually. Either that, or the sour and bitter taste of your imperfections, of which there were infinitely many, would desecrate the flavor of his exquisite yearning and leave him nauseated.

And hence, quite defeated, Aziraphale found himself lying in a warm tangle of Crowley and blankets. He felt a little stunned.
