“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.

Yelan's position as the head of a series of smuggling rings is risky enough, even as rare as her outings as herself are. She knows how invaluable someone like Shenhe is. She could deal with hundreds of attempts on her life and know she would come out safe on the other side. Yelan wouldn’t trade her for anything. The bodyguard is formidable at worst, and a terrifying threat at best. Yelan’s people are all exceptional, and Shenhe is the best of them.
Her work is immaculate, so it's not Yelan's fault if she can't take her eyes off her. Not at all.

With how her family turned out, Ningguang vowed that she would only focus on what she can turn infinite - Mora. Thus, the Tianquan rose far above the lands.
Ningguang and Beidou. One above, and one across. Yet it always feels like they're back on the same old ground as they conflict with each other's hard work - time after time.
