“F5?” Wato prompts, and Ken shakes her head, too excited to even smack them playfully for the joke.
“No, Wato, go out with me,” Ken insists, and grins at the sight of Wato sputtering.

Gripping the steering wheel, they stare at the black screen, not-so-patiently waiting for it to turn on. He’s not go-karted before, so he’s fully, very much expecting to crash. Multiple times. His ears flick once when the screen finally blinks on, a cheery _Kenadian_ in bold white font greeting them. They wait for the countdown.
He steps on the acceleration pedal, and the car shifts forward tentatively— then they press the pedal harder and it shoots off.

Summary
“Deck the halls?” Ken laughs, earning an “Exactly” from Wato. Why the heck not. There are crazier things happening in this Christmas party (there’s already a gambling ring of some sort), and Ken still has to get payback for Parrot making their character a pushover. And also killing Wifies twice. They shrug, and Wato takes that as her cue for chaos, for whatever inane reason.
“PARROT!” Wato yells, completely too loud and much too out of character, “YOU HAVE MET KEN UNDER THE MISTLEFOE! PREPARE FOR A FIGHT TO THE DEATH!”
Heads turn to them, and Parrot has stopped completely in his tracks, staring at the duo incredulously. Ken sputters out muffled laughter, and Wato looks like she is simultaneously proud of her (questionable) actions and wants to dig a grave for herself.

The amethyst Ken placed at the foot of the door chimes softly when walked on, and Wato pokes his head out of the bedroom. Wifies is a monochrome blob against the pinks of the walls, and Wato smiles, the action strange like she hasn’t done so recently.
“Wifies,” Wato greets, “you don’t visit often.” Wifies toes off his sneakers next to Wato’s boots, looking up at Wato’s presence.
“No, I don’t,” Wifies replies, voice low. “I really should come by more.”

“Bro— I— I don’t know what to say to you. He’s gone,” Parrot repeats, sounding just as lost as Wato feels.

Up close, there was no mistake that the fae in front of him was a Red. His skin was a dull grey, his eyes a sharp crimson. He ignored how his face was soft, alarmed as it was— Reds were violent, no questions asked. In this scenario, it was kill or be killed, to hell with Green morals.
“Where’s the rest of your hunting party?” Grian questioned, arrowtip ever so lightly touching the Red’s forehead, bowstring taut and ready to kill.
“Let’s calm down a bit here,” the Red placated, not an answer, “we can talk this out, right?”
“Where are your allies. Give me a real answer or I shoot.”

“Wato?” Wifies asked, as if the person right in front of him wasn’t enough proof. “Wato. You came back.”
