There was Chung Myung looking up at him, his mouth slightly agape and eyes widened - gleaming in admiration.
His fist then suddenly hit his palm, a gesture indicating that everything had finally fallen into place; as if everything confusing about this world had at long last, come together to make perfect sense.
"Ah, so this entire time..." He slowly spoke with fascination. "...I should've just been punching them? Breaking their heads?" He'd never looked so thrilled before. He felt as if a fog had been lifted, clearing the path forward.
Chung Mun at that moment then couldn't help but feel as if he'd just commited a fatal mistake.
A horrible, irreversible mistake.
OR: When Chung Mun discovers that Chung Myung is getting bullied by other disciples, and that Baek Oh is enabling and even encouraging them, he snaps! Accidentally setting a terrible example for the young child - creating a devil that would terrorize the world for generations to come.

Summary
Chung Myung...was already in his fifties. But to Chung Mun - who'd raised and cared for him since he was a mere baby left outside the gates of Mount Hua - he was still just an inexperienced child.
Perhaps these are just the worries of a parent. Worried that their child will learn how to flap their wings and leave the nest themselves, letting themselves be stolen away before the parent is ready to let go.
OR: When Chung Myung keeps disappearing, Chung Mun finds out about a certain friend. Their closeness causes Chung Mun to grow suspicious of their relationship. He resorts to spying on them, leading to some shocking revelations.
