Summary
Sanji walked into the galley, taking off his coat and suit jacket to hang up on the nearby coat hook after shutting the door behind him. He then strode over to where he kept the aprons and slipped one up over his head, tying it around his waist securely.
The man hummed as he went through the motions, pulling out ingredients he needed out of the fridge for the curry he wanted to make for dinner that night. Sanji wanted to make something quick and simple since the crew had been busy all day gathering supplies from an island they had just departed from. Something warm that would sooth them from the winter chill the weather decided to hound them with.
After digging out everything he needed from the fridge, he set the ingredients down onto the counter. Next up was grabbing what he needed from the pantry. As he was digging around for what he needed, Sanji found something he least expected.
A dirty blonde haired boy who lay previously hidden behind some boxes, crouched underneath one of the shelves with his knees brought tightly to his chest.

Eddie tried to figure out how to explain. “My, uh, apartment walls are pretty thin.”
“Mhm,” she said.
“So, I can, you know. Hear things. Coming from the other side of the wall. Which, like, I guess is his bedroom.” Eddie’s face was on fire. “So, the second time it happened, I thought, I’ll just wait until he opens the door so I can introduce myself and ask him to keep it down.”
“But then you saw him,” she finished.
“But then I saw him.”

Eddie just moved to LA with Chris for a fresh start. What he gets instead is an earful of his neighbor’s sex life, several pairs of earplugs, and just maybe, the love of his life.

“I'm not in love with you.” There’s a jolt in Eddie’s stomach at that. “I’m not secretly pining for you, or anything like that. I don’t even see you that way.”
“Oh,” Eddie says, then forces out a laugh he hopes sounds casual. Buck’s eyes are wide, honest, like he’s desperate for Eddie to be reassured by this admission, to believe him. And how much clearer could he be? He’s not in love with Eddie. That’s fine. Eddie never expected him to be. His now empty beer bottle hits the counter too loudly, “No, of course not.”
Or: Buck reassures Eddie that he's not in love with him. Eddie feels some type of way about that.

"I know," Castiel murmurs, still just smiling a little, not looking heartbroken at all. "Don't worry about it, Dean, that's all I ask."
"So we're—" Dean risks a glance up, swallowing thickly. "We're good?"

Summary
If Buck draws a line from the day of that earthquake until today, he’s pretty sure it would be as red as the string of fate and as strong as spidersilk. When he was living in Eddie’s house, Buck realised just how caught up in Eddie’s web he was and ran away, desperate to free Eddie from the depth of his emotions. Now, even though he’s moved out, a single smile from his best friend reels him back in, and he finds himself wishing for more time in Eddie’s orbit.
So when the ceiling collapses in on them, trapping him and Eddie inside the parking lot, there might be a tiny, microscopic chance that it’s Buck’s fault for jinxing them.
Or, a month after Buck moves out from Eddie's house, Buck and Eddie get trapped underground together during an earthquake and have a conversation that's long overdue.

"I can't believe you went for boba without me and you liked it." Buck fakes a faint and falls back into Eddie's shoulder playfully. Eddie smacks at him and grabs him by the waist to hoist him fully upright. May watches the way his hands linger for a moment, and then as if sensing her eyes, he pulls back and slaps them against his waist.
"Are you alright?" Buck looks at Eddie with concern.
May watches Eddie's face panic, and being the wonderful human she is, she falls on the sword instead, "I'm having a gay crisis."
