Midoriya Izuku has a weird quirk, one that allows him to see patterns in everything, but especially in how other people use their own quirks. After encountering the number one hero and inheriting his amalgam of a quirk, Izuku's quirk evolves beyond recognition (and common sense).

    Summary

Midoriya Izuku disappears on a sunny day in April. He simply never comes home from school one day. The police find only a single lead: his backpack and notebook on the roof of a building way off from his normal route. His notebook contains All Might‘s signature, proving the Number One Hero was the last to see him alive. But even with his help, it’s as though Izuku vanished into thin air.

Five months later, he washes up in Okinawa.
    He isn’t the same.
